Fantasia Del C and her filly Gozosa SCS

Also known as the Pure Spanish Horse or Andalusian, the P.R.E. (Pura Raza Españñola) hails from Spain in the Iberian Peninsula. With roots going much farther back, the breed was codified in the 16th century. These elegant and athletic horses are known for excelling at dressage.

Owned by Sarah C. Shechner of Origin P.R.E., Fantasia Del C and Gozosa SCS are a mother and daughter duo and superb ambassadors of their noble breed. Fantasia, bred by Barbara Currie of Oak Hill PRE in Southern California, has enjoyed incredible success in Morphology (conformation) competitions, and is a "Qualified Mare" (Calificada). This means she has passed rigorous inspections and vetting, and upholds the very highest breed standards.

Her 2012 filly, Gozosa SCS, is preparing to follow in her mother's footsteps. Sired by Qualified Grand Prix Dressage stallion Dominante XXIX, Gozosa has beautiful movement and conformation. She is beginning her under-saddle training in dressage, and will also compete in-hand in the future!
